1. What we collect

When you create a Snapend account we collect your email address, name, and avatar (when provided by your sign-in provider). When you upload a receipt we store the image, the extracted text, and the expense record (merchant, amount, date, tax, category, receipt number, and notes).

2. How we use your data

We use your data only to provide the Snapend service: to extract expense details from your receipt photos using AI, to detect duplicates, to compute dashboards and reports, and to enforce plan limits. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. AI processing

Receipt images are sent to AI providers (currently Google Gemini via the Lovable AI gateway) for text extraction. Providers process the image only for the request and do not retain it for training.

4. Storage

Your receipts and expense records are stored on Supabase infrastructure. Access is protected by row-level security so only you (and authorized administrators when you request support) can read your records.

5. Payments

If you upgrade your plan with a manual transfer (bKash, Nagad, bank), we store the transaction id, sender phone number, payment proof image, and a record of the approval decision. We do not store card numbers.

6. Your rights

You can export, edit, or delete any expense from inside the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, write to support@snapend.app.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries strictly to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
